Neurodivergent Signal
Ability is not the same as access.
A task can be within your ability and still out of reach today. Noise, unclear starting points, transitions, masking, fatigue, and support can all change access without changing who you are.
Find the path that fits the conditions you're actually in.

What’s hard to access right now?
Choose what fits this moment. Each option takes you to a short reading path below.
Executive Access
Starting, switching or returning
Burnout + Recovery
Depleted, or capacity has changed
Sensory Load
Overwhelm, noise, too many inputs
Support + Field Design
The conditions need to change
Masking + Social Cost
Performing, then paying for it later
Not sure where to start?
Begin with ability and access.

Start Here
Start with the distinction that organizes the whole hub.
Ability tells us something about capacity.
Access tells us whether that capacity is reachable under the current conditions.
Read the guide first, then follow the path that matches what you’re trying to understand.
FOUNDATIONAL GUIDE
Neurodivergent Signal: Ability Is Not the Same as Access
Why knowing how and being able to begin aren’t the same thing, and what changes the distance between them.
Why knowing how and being able to begin aren’t the same thing, and what changes the distance between them.

NEURODIVERGENT SIGNAL › EXECUTIVE ACCESS
Executive Access
Knowing what to do and being able to begin aren’t always the same process.
A task has more than one threshold: beginning, switching, and finding the way back. An unclear first step, competing demands, or too much held in working memory can raise any of them. Making one entrance visible can change what's reachable.
A MOMENT TO NOTICE
What would make the first usable step easier to reach?
A smaller step? A clearer cue? Less pressure?
◇
Progress can begin anywhere.
— READING PATH —
Keep a good idea from disappearing between the conversation and the next action.

NEURODIVERGENT SIGNAL › SENSORY + NERVOUS SYSTEM LOAD
Sensory + Nervous System Load
The task is never happening in a vacuum.
Sound, light, movement, interruptions, uncertainty, social pressure and physical discomfort can all become part of the demand.
Sensory experience varies from person to person; there isn’t one mechanism behind every overload.
A GENTLE OBSERVATION
What is competing for your system right now?
Notice what changes when one input changes.
◎
Calmer conditions create clearer signals.
— READING PATH —
Read the room around a repeated pattern, then change one condition.
Reduce load and build conditions that make the next moment more reachable.
How overload, regulation and recovery can show up in the body.
Tell a quiet signal apart from an alarm, with room for neurodivergent experience.
─── Same human. Expanded context. More possibilities. ───

NEURODIVERGENT SIGNAL › MASKING + SOCIAL COST
Masking + Social Cost
Sometimes appearing comfortable takes constant work: checking reactions, adjusting tone, and hiding the effort of getting through the room. Other people may see ease while the cost arrives later, when little capacity remains for anything else.
Masking looks different across people and situations. The effort deserves to count, even when nobody else can see it.
A GENTLE REMINDER
What does keeping it together cost you?
Notice the effort that other people may not see.
◇
Your worth is not measured by how well you perform.
— READING PATH —
Some groups help your system soften. Others train you to perform or brace.

─── Same human. More true. ───

NEURODIVERGENT SIGNAL › BURNOUT + RECOVERY
Burnout + Recovery
Skills don't necessarily disappear because access narrows. After sustained demand, a familiar task can require more than your system can give in that moment. Look at what has been carried, what can become lighter, and which forms of recovery are actually available.
A KIND REMINDER
What can become gentler while access is reduced?
Less demand, more recovery, and room for your own pace.
☼
Different pacing still moves you forward.
— READING PATH —
Read the quiet after a demanding period with more care.
Read the texture of quiet without forcing a label.
─── Different pacing still moves you forward. ───

NEURODIVERGENT SIGNAL › SUPPORT + FIELD DESIGN
Support + Field Design
Support doesn't replace your capacity. It changes the conditions under which you can use it. A visible first step, lower noise, a shared plan, or a checkpoint at the right time can bring an otherwise distant action closer.
A MOMENT TO CONSIDER
What could the environment hold, so you don’t have to?
Think about timing, information, physical cues, or a shared plan.
⌂
Support expands what’s possible.
— READING PATH —
Shape small physical cues that support what you’re trying to do.
Separate observations from interpretations and agree on a next step together.
─── More support. More possibility. ───

NEURODIVERGENT SIGNAL › SIGNAL FIELD LENS + F0–F7
Signal Field Lens + F0–F7
Capacity lives in the system. Access depends on the field.
Field Structure is what tends to persist: skill, knowledge, a learned route, a familiar process. Field State is what’s true now: fatigue, sensory load, stress, ambiguity, transition, social demand, available support.
A person can keep their capacity while access changes with conditions. Signal Field is the lens. Neurodivergent lived experience remains the subject.

The F0–F7 Layer Map
A guided framework for reading signal through every layer of experience.
Nested Realities: Dimensional Map
A visual and conceptual exploration of nested realities within the Signal Field framework... mapping dimensional layers, resonance structures, and the architecture of interconnected consciousness fields.
─── Same human. Wider horizons. ───

Across the F0–F7 Map
Neurodivergent experience can touch several F0–F7 lenses at once.
F1 Emotion: emotional charge, frustration, overwhelm. · F2 Perception: processing, interpretation, attention. · F3 Identity: masking, self-story, internalized expectations. · F5 Structure: environment, task design, routines, supports. · F6 Dimensional: family, culture, workplace expectations, collective context.
These are symbolic / operational lenses, not established physical dimensions. It doesn’t belong to one layer. The Layer Map holds the full framework.

NEURODIVERGENT SIGNAL › PRACTICE
Map Access, Not Failure
Notice the conditions, not the verdict.
Choose one task. What were you trying to do? What state were you in? What conditions were present? What competed for access? What support changed the threshold? What happened afterward?
The goal is observation, not self-surveillance. The free Signal Field Logbook gives it a simple home.
A MOMENT TO REFLECT
It became easier when ______.
Access narrowed when ______. Just information, without a verdict.
